On Chanukah, Jews are invited to light candles and to contemplate them each night. The Zohar, one of the major works of medieval Jewish Mysticism, adds another dimension: what if our body were a candle?
In this Jewish meditation session, we will contemplate the deeper mystical side of Chanukah, and its existential and spiritual implications.
The session comprises text learning, a guided and silent meditation, sharing and a time for questions and answers. It is open to everyone. No previous experience is required.
The event is freely offered. At the end there will be an invitation to make a donation to Rabbah Mira.
If you are joining in person
The venue is:
Brampton College, Lodge House, Lodge Road, Hendon London NW4 4DQ
If you are joining online
A Zoom link will be sent to you in advance of the event.
